Introduction to 1-Dimensional Quasicrystals and their Diffraction

Abstract

Using the ubiquitous Fibonacci model for 1-dimensional quasicrystals we will give a gentle introduction to the study of quasicrystals and their diffraction. Models and geometric interpretations will be discussed.
