The URSCA Proceedings provide access to abstracts from the annual Undergraduate Research in Science Conference of Alberta, as well as a number of examples of works detailing scientific research presented at this event.
These proceedings aim to:
- Serve as a model to current and future students in the sciences of outstanding work and educational achievement.
- Ensure that exceptional examples of student work are disseminated and archived online.
- Provide students with a permanent record of their academic contributions to share on job and graduate school applications.

These proceedings utilize the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
